Certificates created with CertifyFast are for recognition and informational purposes only. They are not official documents and should not be used to misrepresent qualifications or credentials.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CertifyFast ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Service

CertifyFast is a free online certificate maker that allows users to:

  • Create customized certificates using professional templates
  • Add text, logos, and signatures to certificates
  • Download certificates as print-ready PDF files
  • Generate multiple certificates from CSV data (batch generation)

All certificate creation and processing occurs client-side in your browser. We do not store your certificate data or personal information on our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You may use CertifyFast for lawful purposes, including:

  • Employee recognition and appreciation
  • Training and course completion acknowledgment
  • Event participation certificates
  • Awards and achievement recognition
  • Educational purposes (schools, workshops)
  • Personal or organizational recognition programs

4. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use CertifyFast to:

  • Create fraudulent certificates: Fake professional licenses, accreditations, or official credentials
  • Misrepresent qualifications: Falsely claim degrees, certifications, or government-issued documents
  • Deceive employers: Fabricate employment history, training, or qualifications
  • Impersonate organizations: Create certificates that falsely represent official institutions
  • Illegal purposes: Any use that violates local, state, national, or international law
  • Harm others: Defamatory, offensive, or discriminatory content
  • Automate abuse: Scraping, automated access, or overloading our servers

Consequences: Violation of these prohibitions may result in termination of access and legal action.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

CertifyFast is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security or freedom from viruses

We do not guarantee that certificates created will be accepted by any third party, institution, or organization.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CertifyFast and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content
  • Misuse of certificates by third parties
  • Reliance on certificates created using the Service

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

7. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and legality of content you enter into certificates
  • Obtaining necessary rights and permissions for logos, signatures, and images you upload
  • Ensuring certificates comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Backing up your certificate data (we do not store it)
  • Verifying certificate output before distribution or printing

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CertifyFast from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Content

CertifyFast templates, designs, code, and branding are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may use our templates to create certificates, but you may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or license our templates
  • Create competing certificate maker services using our templates
  • Remove or alter copyright notices from templates

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you create using CertifyFast (names, text, logos, signatures). We do not claim ownership of your certificates or uploaded content.

9. Privacy & Data

Your use of CertifyFast is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • All certificate creation happens locally in your browser
  • We do not store your certificate data or personal information
  • You are responsible for backing up certificates (via PDF download)
  • Clearing browser data will delete your saved certificates

10. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
  • Deny access to users who violate these terms
  • Remove features or change pricing (for future paid tiers)

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect provisions that should survive (liability limitations, indemnification, intellectual property).

CertifyFast does not provide legal, professional, or accreditation advice. Certificates created using the Service are not legal documents and do not confer official qualifications, licenses, or credentials. Consult appropriate professionals for official certifications.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CertifyFast operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
