What is the difference between a certificate of appreciation and recognition?
Appreciation thanks someone for help they gave (time, money, support). Recognition acknowledges a result or quality they showed, such as a milestone or exemplary conduct. The design can be the same; the wording changes.
What should I write on a certificate of appreciation?
Keep it to one or two sentences: a phrase of thanks, then the specific contribution and, if useful, the period or event. Specific beats generic: "for coaching the under-10s every Saturday" means more than "for your support".
